We are so lucky to live in the beautiful county of East Lothian. The beaches are incredible and the favorite part of my day is taking my dog, Pixie, out for a walk. This always clears my head and allows me just to 'be' and to be grateful for all that we have and where we live!
For a small county, it's quite incredible what is produced here and you can use other amazing East Lothian produce along side our recipes.
The Mango and Chilli Chutney from The Spice Witch is the best I have ever tasted; make raita from the amazing yogurt from Yester Dairies. Quench your thirst with a cider from Thistly Cross, a beer from The Winton Brewery or if gin is your tipple, taste Fidra Gin. Then treat yourself to some of the Chocolate Trees awarding winning chocolates. Black and Gold Oil is first class (try using this with a little of our Tandoori Masala Blend rubbed on halloumi slices and cooked on the barbecue) and to liven up your drinks choices, why not add some of the delicious Summer Ripple from Gullane Glogg - delicious with tonic water, or a glass of fizz.
Come and visit us on our stand at the Royal Highland Show and you will be able to sample and buy all of these amazing products.
Spice Pots are running a HUGE show offer of buy 1, get 1 free on ALL of our products. This means that you can pick up 2 of our Luxury Gift Tins for only £40.00 (saving a whopping £40.00) or 2 x our Gift Sets (saving £12.95). A great time to stock up on presents. Spice Pots make great gifts for teachers or for the men in your life who, let's face it, can sometimes be quite tricky to buy for!
