I've never been a vegetarian, but I was a very fussy child and ate mostly raw vegetables, lots of salad and a bit of roast chicken on a Sunday at a push!
I was brought up on the traditional 'meat and 2 veg' and my parents had the most amazing vegetable and herb garden, so we were lucky enough to have delicious, sometimes unusual and incredibly fresh vegetables.
In India, vegetarian food is the norm and I'm currently loving making filling, warming vegetarian curries that my whole family are enjoying too!
