Marinated Prawn Skewers
This easy BBQ prawns recipe is quick and delicious. Prawns on the BBQ take a couple of minutes to cook and paired with a simple salad, make a very healthy and very quick dinner! Serve with a simple Kachumber Salad for a light starter option or check out more BBQ side dish options.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Marinade: 30 mins to 2 hours
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Method: BBQ or Grill
Heat scale: 🌶️🌶️
150ml Greek Yoghurt (or use soya yoghurt for a dairy free option)
2 tablespoons lime juice
3 teaspoons of Spice Pots Tandoori Masala Blend
Salt, to taste
Handful of fresh coriander, chopped
1 lime, cut into wedges
- Mix all the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl. Stir to combine well.
- Add the prawns to the marinade and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or best for two hours.
- Thread the prawns onto skewers and grill on both sides (baste with oil to avoid them sticking), until they are cooked and slightly charred on the surface. This won't take long!
- Remove from the grill, garnish with chopped coriander and serve immediately with lime wedges.
