Spice Pots sell 100% natural, perfectly balanced spice blends, paired with simple recipes to create quick and simple curries and other Indian-inspired food. We stock 400+ shops all over the UK and Ireland and sell widely online. We have experienced phenomenal growth over the last 12 months.

This is a full time role and is based in the Haddington office, in East Lothian. 

Essential Skills Required
Excellent admin and organisational skills
Friendly and approachable with superb communication skills, both spoken and written
Sound IT literacy
The ability to prioritize work projects
A positive, solution driven and ‘can do’ approach
Regular use and understanding of facebook & instagram

Desirable Skills (but not essential)
Knowledge of google drive
Knowledge of shopify websites
An eye for design and the ability to use Canva or alternative design software

The job will be varied and busy and will include (but will not be limited) to the following:

Admin - you will be vital back up for the rest of the team. You will learn our systems (and make them better), prepare order paperwork and generally keep the office running smoothly. You will liaise with suppliers and clients and must have excellent spoken and written communication skills. This part of the job is absolutely key and you need to love efficiency whilst maintaining high standards of communication.

Customer Service - a key focus of our company is outstanding customer service and you will be engaging with our customers on a daily basis

Social Media - creating content and engaging with our social media audience across multiple channels, under the direction of our Social Media Manager.

Additionally, there are opportunities to develop an interest in the following:

Writing - we are constantly adding new content to our website in the form of recipes and blog posts as well as writing product descriptions. If this is an area you wish to develop, there will be plenty of opportunities

Analytics - digital marketing requires constant analysing- if this floats your boat, you can get stuck in here too!

We will offer full training on all aspects of the job. However, it’s essential that you are naturally organised, upbeat, positive, highly motivated and have an appetite for learning new skills. We encourage self development and should there be other areas of the business that particularly interest you, there is room for training and improvement.

Salary: will depend on experience
Hours: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Location: Haddington, East Lothian

N.B whilst training is being given, the hours will be 9.30am to 2.30pm with the pro-rata salary to match. Once fully trained, the hours will be 9.00am to 5.00pm.
