Spice Pots Top 4 Kid's Tea Suggestions

It can be a bit tedious and frustrating cooking for little people who are fussy and don't want to eat what you have lovingly prepared.  Why not try them with some new dishes?  They might surprise you.  And if they hate it, you will not have wasted too much time as all our recipes are designed to be quick, easy and healthy and you can always enjoy instead!

Here are 4 simple Indian-inspired kids tea suggestions:

  1. Marinated Grilled Chicken Breasts, with spring onions, cucumber and peppers served in a wrap or a pitta.  Simply cook the chicken in the oven for around 20 minutes and serve with a selection of raw veg or salad.  Let them help themselves from a board in the middle of the table.
  2. Goan Chicken and Lentil Curry - although our Goan blend is the spiciest in our range, we've only added a few teaspoons in this recipe and so the end result is a delicious chicken curry, on the table in 30 minutes.  Freezes well.
  3. Smooth Chicken Curry for fussy kids - loads of hidden veggies in this smooth sauce.  A favorite of my kids.
  4. Grilled or Barbecued Pork Fillet, with satay sauce and refreshing carrot salad (raw) served in a wrap.  Yum.
