Add some sweet spice to your porridge for a deliciously different start to your day.
Ingredients for the Delicious Spiced Porridge:
85g rolled oats
100ml almond milk
water, to thin
1 tsp sweet spice
1-2 tsps maple syrup / algave nectar
Simply add the oats, water, almond milk, and slices of banana to a saucepan and allow to heat on medium-low for about 3 minutes. Then add the sweet spice and maple syrup and warm until all the liquid has been absorbed and you are left with a creamy porridge, about 3-5 more minutes. Pour into a bowl and top with more fruit or nuts or more sweet spice!
