Halloumi Fries

Halloumi cooking on a BBQ or griddle pan

Halloumi Fries

This is a delicious, quick and easy BBQ recipe.  The slightly spiced, salty fries go so well with cold beer on a sunny day.   Serve with a chutney and a little salad.  Great for a quick snack too to keep everyone happy whilst the main event is underway.

Serves 2-3 as a snack

250g pack of Halloumi, cut into thick slices
2 tsps oil
1 tsps Tandoori Masala Spice Pots blend

In a small bowl, mix the oil and the spices.  Cut the halloumi into chips or leave as slices as we have done.  Rub the oil / spice mixture over all sides of the halloumi. Fry until golden, about 5 minutes. We've added a few extra chopped chillies for that extra kick.

A hit with the kids and as an accompaniment to a beer for my husband!
