This recipe came from my lovely friend Rachel who does a pretty good job of not eating sugar. Such a simple recipe, my kids will happily make this and scoff it for a snack after school.
8 - 10 slices4 ripe bananas
5 dessert spoons of oil
4 dessert spoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons sweet spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
170g spelt flour
Mix with hand held blender all the ingredients except the flour with a hand blender, then add the flour and walnuts if using and mix.
Pour into loaf tin lined with baking parchment and bake at 180 for 50 mins.
